Happy International Women’s Day from RSD Shipping Agency Jamaica
A Message from Our Managing Director on International Women’s Day
Today, the RSD Shipping Agency Jamaica Limited team joins the global community in general and Jamaica’s in particular in celebrating International Women’s Day, which this year is being guided by the theme “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality,” which highlights the role of innovative technology in promoting gender equality and meeting the health and developmental needs of women and girls.
As we commemorate this important day focused on women’s achievements throughout history, my thoughts go to all those women who continue to be affected by limited access and exposure to digital technology, which can no longer be viewed as a privilege, but as a right in a brighter future.
Today is an opportune time to reflect on the important role women play in supporting a sustainable future for all, including those who are part of the RSD Shipping team, and make their contribution to the growing logistics industry.
We also use this opportunity to celebrate our female clients who continue to defy the odds and are nurturing viable businesses, while symbiotically supporting ours, ensuring our success. Indeed, we have much to celebrate.
Empowering women through digital innovation and technology is a profound responsibility, necessary for gender equality. A society is better when women are given equal respect and opportunities for advancement.
Our continued success is dependent on investment in women, a realization we embrace wholeheartedly.
HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY!
